Rasta Cafe

Rasta Cafe sits out on the way to Ramnagaram, specifically at the address of Basavanagar Suraksha Farms- Mayaganahalli. It is a bit of a long drive for some people, but for us, it is just the place where we show up to work every day. The air is definitely different out here compared to the middle of the city. We get a lot of travelers and groups of bikers who are looking for a place to stretch their legs and get some fresh air. The vibe is pretty laid back because we have a lot of open space to work with. We do not try to rush people through their meals or make them leave. You will often see people just sitting around for hours talking, which is perfectly fine by us. The grounds are quite large, and we spend a fair amount of time just maintaining the outdoor areas so they stay neat. It gets very dark out here at night, which actually makes the lights look quite nice. We handle a lot of big groups, especially on the weekends when everyone wants to escape Bangalore for a bit. It is a lot of physical work to keep a place this size running, from the kitchen to the far tables. We are just a stop on the road for most people.
