Ramesh Estate Agency is located at number 92 on the 2nd Main Road in Basavanagudi. We are in the Ramachandrapuram area, which isn't too far from the Lalbagh West Gate. It’s a nice part of town with a lot of old trees and people who have lived here forever. We spend our time looking at houses, shops, and plots of land for people. Sometimes it’s someone looking to rent a small flat, other times it’s a family wanting to sell their old home. We keep a lot of files and notebooks with details about who wants what. It’s mostly about knowing the streets and who is moving where. The office is small and we usually have the fan going because it gets warm in the afternoons. We aren't like those big corporate firms with suits. We just know Basavanagudi really well. We walk around the neighborhood a lot to see what’s available. Dealing with property can be stressful for people, so we just try to give them the facts. Some days we are out on the scooter all day showing places, and other days we are just sitting here waiting for the phone to ring. It’s a simple life. We’ve seen the prices go up and down over the years but the houses mostly stay the same. We just help people find a place to stay.
