Raja Coffee

Raja Coffee is located at 147, MG Road. Being on such a well-known road means we see a lot of people every single day. It’s a busy part of town, and we’ve gotten used to the constant sound of traffic and people walking by. Our space isn't huge, but it's enough for what we need to do. We don't go in for fancy decorations or anything that feels too polished. It’s just a plain shop where we handle our business as honestly as we can. We started out small and we’ve pretty much stayed that way, which is fine by us. We like knowing the people who walk through our door. MG Road has changed a lot over the years, with new shops opening and old ones closing, but we’re still here at number 147. We don’t have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just want to provide what people are looking for and make sure they feel treated fairly. Some days are stressful when it gets really crowded, but we just take it one person at a time. It’s a very basic way of running a business, but it works for us. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to do a good job right here on our street. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped when the afternoon rush hits, but we manage. It’s just the way it’s always been, and we’re fine with that life.
