Our place is in Vijaya Nagar, right on the 8th Main and 19th Cross in the CHBS Layout. The address is 117/14 if you are looking for it. It is a busy intersection, so there is always something going on outside the window, from vegetable sellers to people rushing to work. We started this real estate work because we knew the area so well. Most of us grew up around here, so we know which streets are quiet and which ones tend to get a lot of water when the monsoon rains are heavy. The office is pretty basic and functional. We have a few desks and a water cooler that makes a loud glugging noise every hour. People drop by mostly because they saw our board while walking to the market. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out on the field looking at different properties. Vijaya Nagar is a great place with lots of parks and shops, so there is always interest from people moving into the city. We don't use any big words or try to impress anyone with marketing talk. We just tell people what we know about the houses and the landlords around here. It’s a lot of walking around and checking old papers. Sometimes the paperwork takes forever to get through, but that is just how things go. We try to stay patient and help the customers navigate through it all. It’s a local business run by local people.
