We are located at Yeshwantpur 6th Main Road, specifically in the APMC Yard at 176. It’s a massive market area, very loud and always moving. Rafik And Company has been here for years, dealing with wholesale goods. Every morning starts very early, usually before the sun is even up. That’s when the trucks arrive. We spend the first few hours of the day just getting everything organized. The air is full of the smell of grains and spices. It’s a tough environment, very competitive but also friendly in a way. We know all the other traders around us. We share news about prices and the weather. Our office is just a small cabin with a fan and some old ledgers. We don't have much time to sit down anyway. My cousins work here with me. It’s a family thing. We learned the business by watching our elders. You have to be quick with numbers and have a good eye for quality. If the stock isn't good, nobody will buy it. We’ve had some long days where things don't go right, but that’s part of the trade. We don't have any marketing brochures. Our reputation is just based on being here every day and doing what we say we’ll do. Yeshwantpur is a busy place, and we are just one small part of it, keeping things moving along as well as we can. It is just the way it works here every day.
