You can find us at number 16 in the Richmond Town GIDC Estate. It’s a typical industrial estate where everyone is busy making something or other. At R C Design, we spend our days focused on design work and the production side of things. We don't have a big sign out front or a fancy lobby for visitors. Most of the people who come here are clients who have been working with us for a long time. They know the way to the estate and where to park. The building is simple and practical, just like the way we handle our business. We do a lot of drafting and planning before anything actually gets built. There’s a lot of back and forth between the office and the shop floor. It’s not always perfectly organized, as we often have several projects going at once, but we know where everything is. The GIDC is a good place to be because everything we need is nearby. If we need a specific material or a tool, there's usually a supplier just a few blocks away. We don't put much stock in being corporate or polished. We just want to get the designs right so that the final product works the way it’s supposed to. It’s a lot of sitting at desks followed by a lot of standing around machines. That’s just the way the work goes here.
