Qahwa

Qahwa is our little coffee spot on Hosur Road near Shiv Vallabh Road. It is right where the traffic usually starts to get heavy, so we get a lot of people stopping in to escape the noise for a minute. The name means coffee, so that is mostly what we focus on. We have a simple counter and some stools where people can sit. It’s not a very big place, just enough room for a coffee machine and a small seating area. We spend our mornings grinding beans and getting the milk ready. The smell of coffee usually drifts out onto Hosur Road, which helps people find us. We don't have a massive menu with fifty different types of drinks. We just do the basics and try to do them okay. Shiv Vallabh Road is right around the corner, so we see a lot of locals who walk over for their daily cup. The shop has a few windows that look out onto the street, and it’s actually kind of interesting to watch the world go by while you’re behind the counter. We don't have any fancy decorations or soft music playing. It’s just a functional space for people who need a caffeine fix. Sometimes we run out of certain things by the afternoon, but that’s just how it goes with a small shop like ours. We just close up when the sun goes down and do it all over again.
