The bus stop is always full of people waiting so there is a lot of energy right outside our window. Chandra Layout is a nice enough place to be based. We have been here at 53/2 for quite some time. The office is just a simple room where we keep the keys and the paperwork. It’s not one of those polished places you see in movies. We have real grease on our hands sometimes and the floors aren't always perfect. Since we are right by the buses, we hear the engines and the conductors shouting all day long. It becomes like background music after a while. We have our vehicles parked nearby and we spend a lot of time checking them over. It is a lot of work to keep everything moving. People stop in because they see the sign while waiting for their bus. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. We just stay here at the layout and do what needs doing. It’s a local operation and we know the streets around here like the back of our hand. It is just a basic business run by regular folks.
