Prakruthi Traders

Hemavathi Nagar is a quiet enough place most of the time, and that’s where you’ll find Prakruthi Traders at 701. We’ve been set up here for a bit now. It’s not a huge operation, just a few of us trying to keep the inventory straight. The space is filled with boxes and the smell of whatever we’re moving that week. We don't have fancy carpets or glass walls. It’s more about having enough space to walk between the stacks without knocking anything over. We get the gate open early so the morning air can circulate. The light in the afternoon gets a bit harsh through the front windows, so we usually pull the shades halfway down. We spend a lot of time checking lists and making sure the numbers match up. Sometimes they don't, and then we have to spend the whole afternoon figuring out why. We don't have a big corporate philosophy. We just want to get the work done so we can go home to our families. The tea kettle is almost always on in the corner. If you come by, you’ll likely hear the radio playing some old songs in the background. It helps the day go by faster when things are slow. We’re just local people doing a regular job. It’s not glamorous, but it works for us and the people we deal with around here. There is always something new to count or move.
