Prakash Bag Center

Prakash Bag Center is situated on the first floor of the Shivanandi Sankirna Complex. We have units 9, 10, 11, and 12, so we take up a bit of space up there. Chickpet is a very crowded area and it can be hard to find your way if you aren't used to it. You have to look for the stairs and come up to the first floor to find us. We have been in this building for many years now. It’s a busy life in the market. Most of our day is spent moving boxes and talking to people who come in looking for bags. It is not a polished showroom with carpets. It is more of a working warehouse where we keep our stock. You have to watch your step because there are often bags stacked up in the aisles. My family has been doing this for a long time. We know almost all the other shopkeepers in the Shivanandi Sankirna Complex. We see the same faces every day. The noise from the street downstairs never really stops. Sometimes the power goes out and we just use flashlights to keep working. We don't have any big marketing plans. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the day to start. It is a straightforward business and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. If you need us, we are here on the first floor in the middle of all the market chaos.
