Power Tech Engineers

Our place is at 893 Vijaya Nagar, which is pretty close to the local telephone exchange. It is a decent area to work in, though it gets a bit crowded with parked scooters on the pavement. Power Tech Engineers is basically just a workshop where we handle all the engineering stuff that comes our way. We have got benches covered in grease and tools that have seen better days but still work just fine. Most days start around nine when we get the lights on and check what projects are waiting. The telephone exchange is a good landmark because everyone knows where that is. We do not have a fancy office with a secretary or anything like that. If you come in, you will probably find one of us under a machine or looking at some blueprints. The floor is concrete and has a few stains, but that is how a workshop should look I suppose. We have been in this part of Vijaya Nagar for a good bit now. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day, neighbors talking or cars passing by. It is not a quiet life but it is a good one for doing this kind of work. Sometimes we stay late when a job is being stubborn, and the street gets real quiet then. We just keep our heads down and get the engineering done as it comes. It’s not about looking pretty, it’s about making things work the way they’re supposed to.
