Power Engineeering Works

Power Engineering Works is situated in Lalbagh West 5. It is a straightforward shop where we do a lot of the heavy lifting. The area around Lalbagh is always busy, and there is a lot of history here. We have been part of this neighborhood for a long time. The workshop is filled with the sound of machinery and the smell of metal. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but that’s because we are actually working. We have benches covered in grease and tools hanging on the walls. Most of the staff have been here for years, so we all know how the others work. We handle a variety of engineering tasks, mostly stuff that people bring in when it’s broken or needs a custom fit. We don’t have a fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the back with our sleeves rolled up. It’s a practical business. We don't bother with much advertising because word of mouth in Lalbagh usually keeps us busy enough. The tea stall around the corner is where we spend our breaks. It is just a local engineering works doing what needs to be done. We stay focused on the metal and the machines. Some days are long, especially when a big job comes in, but we like the work.
