Ponnar Precision Engineering

We are located over on Magazine Street in Devanachikkanhalli. It’s number 21. If you're looking for us, look for the small blue door. We do precision engineering, which sounds fancy, but mostly it means we just have to be really careful with our measurements. We work with small parts mostly. The machines take up most of the room, so there isn't much space to walk around if there are more than three people inside. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the big fan running, though it makes a lot of clicking sounds. We’ve been in this spot for a good bit of time. The neighbors are nice, mostly other small shops. We spend a lot of time double-checking things because if you're off by a tiny bit, the whole part is useless. That’s the stress of the job, I guess. We drink a lot of coffee to stay sharp. Sometimes we stay late when a customer needs something by the next morning. There’s no big sign out front, just the name. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town. We just want to do the work and go home to our families. It’s a quiet life, mostly, except for the sound of the drills. We're just regular people trying to do a good job with our hands and making sure everything we finish is done exactly the way it was asked for by the customer.
