Pintu Plastics

Our place is at No. 29, right near Raja Market in Ganigarpet. It’s an old area with very narrow streets. If you’re driving a big car, you’ll have a hard time getting here. Most people just walk or use a two-wheeler. Pintu Plastics is just one of those shops you find in these busy market zones. We have been here for a long time. The building is a bit old and the paint is peeling in some spots. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves full of plastic goods. We get a lot of wholesale buyers because of the location. It’s loud out on the street with all the loaders and the people shouting. We usually have the radio playing to drown out some of that noise. Lunch happens whenever there’s a quiet moment. Sometimes we don’t get a break until late afternoon. The electricity goes out once in a while, then we just sit outside on the steps. It’s a family thing, really. My father started it and now I’m here most days. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. It’s just a plastic shop in a crowded market. If you need something and we have it, we sell it to you. That is how it works. No big fuss about it. We close up when the market quietens down in the evening. It is a long day but we are used to it by now.
