Our place, B L R Knits Pvt Ltd, is over at 6/3B on Begur Road. We are specifically on the 2nd Main in Hongasandra. It’s more of a workshop than a store. You can hear the machines humming from the street before you even walk in. We’ve got stacks of knitted fabric everywhere and the air is always full of a bit of lint. It’s hard work, and the days can be long when we have a big deadline. We aren't a big corporation with fancy offices. We have a small desk in the corner with a phone that rings way too often. Most of us have worked here for years, so we know the machines inside out. Hongasandra is a busy part of town with a lot of manufacturing going on. We get our yarn delivered on big trucks that sometimes block the narrow road. The tea lady comes by twice a day, and that’s usually the highlight of the afternoon. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy signs. Our work speaks for itself, and people in the trade know where to find us. It’s hot in the summer with all the machinery running, but we have a few big fans that help a bit. B L R Knits Pvt Ltd is just a group of people working hard on Begur Road to get things done. We keep our heads down and stay busy from morning till night.
