Bharat Glass & Crockeries

Our shop is located at the 7th Mile on Hosur Road, right by the Kudlu Gate Signal. We are inside the A.M. Industrial Estate area. We sell a lot of glass items and different kinds of crockeries. If you walk into our warehouse, you’ll see stacks of boxes piled all the way to the ceiling. It can be a bit of a mess sometimes because we get new shipments in every week and we have to find space for everything. We have plates, bowls, cups, and all that kind of stuff for kitchens. The floors are just plain concrete and it can get a bit chilly in the mornings. We don't spend money on fancy displays or lighting. We just put the items out so people can see what they are buying. Most of our customers are from the industrial estate or people driving by on Hosur Road who see our sign. The traffic at the signal can be really bad, so it takes a while to get in and out of the gate. We have a few guys who help with the heavy lifting and packing the glass so it doesn't break. It’s a straightforward business. We just try to keep enough stock so that we don’t run out when someone needs a large order for a party or a small restaurant. It is dusty work because of all the cardboard boxes, but we keep the plates as clean as we can.
