B L R Dhoti

We are located over at 256 on 7th Cross Road in Rama Krishana Nagar. It’s a pretty quiet spot most of the time, except when the morning rush happens. B L R Dhoti has been operating out of this small space for years. We spend most of our days folding fabric and making sure the dhotis are stacked neatly on the wooden shelves. There isn't much to say about us other than we just show up and do the work. The sun hits the front window around noon, making it quite bright inside. People from the neighborhood usually just drop in when they need something for a wedding or a temple visit. We don’t have a big fancy showroom or anything like that. It is just a simple place where we keep our stock and handle the daily chores. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a bit of trouble backing into the narrow cross road, but we manage. My uncle started this place a long time ago and we haven’t changed much since then. The floors are a bit worn down from people walking in and out. We try to keep things organized, but when a big shipment arrives, there are boxes everywhere for a couple of days. It’s just how things go around here. If you are looking for us, look for the small blue sign near the corner. We are usually here from early morning until the street lights come on. Even when it is raining, we keep the door open a crack for the breeze.
