Next Generation Engineering

Being in the Peenya Industrial Area means we are surrounded by shops and factories of all sizes. Next Generation Engineering is right in the middle of all that noise and activity in Peenya. We’ve been here for some time now. The name might sound like something from a science movie, but it's really just us and some lathes and milling machines in a big room. We do a lot of small parts for other businesses nearby. Some days we are really swamped with orders and other days it's a bit quieter, which gives us time to clean up the workspace. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings by the time we hit lunchtime. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone sitting in a suit at the front. It's just a group of us who like making things work and getting the dimensions right. If a drawing comes in, we look it over and see if we can machine it properly. Sometimes the specs are tricky, but we usually manage to figure it out eventually. Peenya is a tough place to work because it's always crowded and the roads are narrow, but it's where the real work happens. We don't make promises we can't keep to our neighbors. If we can do the job, we say so. If a machine breaks down, we just fix it and keep going.
