Parimala Coffee Works

We’ve been here on Main Road for a long time now. People usually find us by the smell of the beans roasting in the morning. It's just a small place, nothing fancy. My father started this because he liked good coffee, and we just kept going with it. Most days it’s just us handling the machines and making sure the bags are filled right. The traffic outside gets loud, but inside we just focus on the work. We don't really do fancy packaging or anything like that. People come in, get what they need, and have a quick chat before heading back to their day. It’s a simple routine. Sometimes the machine acts up and we have to fix it ourselves, which takes time. We try to keep things consistent, even when the weather gets hot and sticky. Some customers have been coming here since they were kids. Now they bring their own children along. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, just keeping the shop running. There's always a lot of dust from the road, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the counters. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. We close up when the sun goes down and start all over again the next day. It’s just how things are around here. We keep a few chairs for those who want to rest their legs, but mostly it's grab and go. The overhead fan wobbles a bit, but it still works fine.
