Panchami Engineering Enterprises

If you walk down the lane at Wilson Garden 189/44, you’ll find us tucked away. Panchami Engineering Enterprises is really just a bunch of us working with metal and machines all day long. The floor is usually covered in a bit of oil and metal shavings, which we try to clean up but it just comes back. It’s a bit loud in here when the lathes are running and the grinders are going, but you get used to it after a while. We spend a lot of time looking at drawings and trying to figure out how to make parts fit together right. It’s not a clean job, and our hands are mostly black from the grease by lunchtime. We take our breaks sitting on whatever stools aren’t broken. There’s no big office or anyone in a suit here. We just focus on the work on the bench in front of us. Some days are slow and we just tidy up the tools, other days it’s a rush to get things out the door before it gets dark. The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. We have some old equipment that still works better than the new stuff we bought a few years back. It’s a simple living, just making sure the pieces go where they’re supposed to go and everything is measured correctly without any real fuss.
