We are situated at number 7 in Bilal Nagar, Ganigarpet, right across from the Mumthaz showroom on the 2nd Main Road. It is a busy trading area where everyone is always in a hurry. Our place is mostly a warehouse and a small office space. We deal with a lot of bulk goods, so you will usually see sacks or boxes stacked up near the entrance. It is a hardworking environment. We do not have much in the way of decoration. There is a calendar on the wall and a few plastic chairs for when people come by to talk about orders. The 2nd Main Road gets quite congested with trolleys and carts, so we have to be careful when loading the trucks. My brother and I run the daily operations, and we have a couple of boys who help with the heavy lifting. We keep a jug of water by the door for the delivery drivers because it gets very dusty outside. It has been our family’s main work for years. We are not looking to become some giant corporation. We just want to keep things running smoothly and make sure the accounts are settled at the end of the month. The lighting inside is just a couple of long tube lights, and it can get hot in the afternoons, so we keep the big shutters open to let the air in. It is a straightforward business in a part of town that never really sleeps.
