Balaji Marketing is tucked away in J M Lane, specifically at 15 4th Cross. If you know Balepet, you know how crowded it gets, especially in the afternoons. Our space isn't huge, but we make it work by stacking things high up toward the ceiling. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes when a new shipment arrives. We spend a lot of time on our feet, moving boxes from one corner to the other so we can actually reach the back. The lane is narrow, so when a delivery truck comes, everyone has to scramble to clear the path. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and the walls show it. There are marks from where crates have bumped into them over the years. We keep a ledger on the main desk that’s seen better days, but it’s where everything gets written down. The fans hum all day, trying to keep the air moving, though it stays pretty warm. We usually eat our lunch together in the back area between calls and walk-ins. It's loud outside with all the horns and people shouting, but inside we just focus on the orders. It’s busy work, and there’s always something that needs counting or labeling before we can head home for the evening. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that, so if the phone rings, whoever is closest just picks it up and deals with it. Most of our neighbors are doing the same thing every day.
