Padmavati Extrusions

Our place, Padmavati Extrusions, is located at 71/2 on H Siddaiah Road. It’s very close to the bus stand on Sahar Road, so there’s always a lot of people walking by and buses rumbling. We do extrusion work here, mostly making profiles and parts that other businesses use for their own products. The machines are quite old and noisy but they still run fine if you know how to handle them properly. It gets pretty hot inside during the afternoon when all the equipment is running at once. We usually have the big front door open to let some air in, though it brings in the street noise too. There are piles of materials in the corners and the floor has those deep marks from moving heavy stuff around for years. We aren't a big corporation with fancy offices or secretaries. Our "office" is basically a desk in the corner of the workshop with a bunch of dusty ledgers and a telephone that rings at odd hours. We take orders from local manufacturers and try to keep up with the schedule as best we can. Sometimes there’s a delay if a machine acts up or if the power goes out, but that’s just part of the business. We’ve lived and worked around here for a long time. People know us as the guys near the bus stand who handle the plastic and metal stuff. It’s a noisy, busy place but it’s our livelihood. We just focus on getting the orders out on time.
