If you’re looking for Padmanathan Sugars, you have to head up to the 1st Floor at 78, A Block. We’re located on 3rd Main in Rajajainagar, specifically in the 2nd Stage area. Being on the first floor means we’re constantly carrying things up and down the stairs, which definitely keeps us in shape. It’s a bit of an older building, so the stairs creak and the hallways are a little narrow. Rajajainagar is a great place to be, though, with plenty of life and energy all around us. Our space is functional and a bit cramped because we try to fit as much stock as possible into the rooms. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. You just walk in and you’ll see us at our desks or moving bags around the floor. We spend our days mostly on the phone or checking the latest arrivals. It gets a bit noisy with the traffic from 3rd Main drifting in through the windows, but we don't mind it much. We’ve become part of the background of the 2nd Stage. We’re just local people doing a job we understand. There’s no polish here, just a lot of hard work and the occasional cup of coffee when we can find a spare minute. We keep things running as best as we can, even when the power goes out or a delivery is late. It’s just the way it goes when you run a place like this in a busy city.
