Oswal Beverages is tucked away at number 7 in the Pete Chinappa Estate. If you know Kamakshipalya, you probably know the Pooja Kalyana Mantappa nearby. That’s usually how we tell people to find us when they get lost. Being in an estate means there’s always trucks coming and going, so it can get a bit noisy during the middle of the day. We’ve been operating from this spot for a while now. The space is filled with crates and the sound of the bottling line, which is just part of the daily routine for everyone here. It’s not a shiny corporate building, just a functional place where we spend most of our waking hours. Some of the guys have been with us since the beginning. We mostly just focus on getting the orders out on time. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine acts up, and we have to spend the afternoon fixing things instead of working. That’s just how it goes when you’re running a business like this. We aren't trying to be something we aren't. We just provide beverages to the local area and keep the business moving. It’s a lot of manual work and long hours, but we’re used to it by now. The estate has a lot of other small businesses too, so it feels like a little community of its own. We often share a quick snack with the neighbors in the afternoon.
