Om Taxi

Our base is at 1560 Banashankari in the Gorai area, tucked right behind PES College. Being near a college means there is always something going on, usually lots of students walking around and small food stalls everywhere. Om Taxi is a simple operation. We have a small room where we keep the logbooks and the car keys. It isn't a high-tech dispatch center with big screens. We just use our phones and know our drivers well. Most of the time, the cars are out on the road, so the office stays pretty quiet. We have been around this part of Banashankari for years and the locals know to look for us behind the college. The traffic can be a nightmare during the morning hours when classes start, so we have to plan our pickups carefully. We don't have a shiny fleet of brand-new luxury cars; they are just reliable vehicles that get people from one place to another. Sometimes the office feels a bit small when everyone is in at the same time, but that doesn't happen often. We don't do much in the way of promotion. Most of our work comes from people who have had our number for a decade. It is a honest living and we try to be fair with everyone who calls. If you are looking for us, just head toward the college and follow the road around the back side. There is usually a bit of shade there to park while we wait.
