Om Shakthi Engineering is located at number 17 in the Peenya Industrial Area, specifically in the Freedom Fighter Colony near the Ring Road. If you know where the Kurubra Halli Bridge is, we aren't too far from there. Peenya is known for being loud and industrial, and our shop fits right in. There’s the constant hum of power tools and the sound of welding going on. It’s not a place where you’ll find a clean carpet or fancy furniture. We have heavy workbenches, sets of wrenches everywhere, and containers full of bolts and nuts. The walls have a bit of grime on them from years of engineering work, but that’s just how it goes. We spend our time fixing things or fabricating parts according to what folks bring in. It’s a busy environment and we usually have several projects going at once. Sometimes the Ring Road traffic makes it hard to hear ourselves think, but we’re used to it by now. We don't have a receptionist; you just walk in and look for one of us in the back. It’s a bit cluttered, with scraps of metal and old machine parts tucked into corners. We keep the tea kettle going in the afternoons to stay alert. It’s just an honest day’s work in a part of town that’s built on making things. We don’t overcomplicate it; we just do the engineering.
