That hall is a major landmark, so whenever there's a big wedding, the whole street gets filled with cars and people in their best clothes. It’s a bit of a contrast to our workshop where we are mostly dealing with metal and machinery. Our building is a standard three-story structure, and we use the ground floor for most of our operations. It stays a bit cluttered with parts and various bits of hardware, but we know exactly where everything is kept. The street noise is constant, but you really stop noticing it after a few months of working here. We have a small office area in the back where the air conditioning works, which is a nice relief during the summer. Most of the staff have been here a long time, so we don't need to say much to get the work done. We just show up, look at the daily schedule, and start on the next job. It’s a very straightforward way of doing things. We aren't big on having meetings; we just prefer to stay busy with the actual work. There's usually some grease on our hands and the smell of metal in the air by the afternoon.
