Nexus Florist

Our shop is over in Sanjaynagar at 2/32, 2nd "E" Main. It’s in the Bhoopasandra New Extension part of the area. We spend most of our time dealing with flowers, as you might guess from the name. It’s a lot of early mornings, getting to the market before it gets crowded and then bringing everything back to the shop. We spend the rest of the day trimming stems and putting things into buckets. The floor is usually wet and there are leaves everywhere until we sweep up at night. We do a lot of local deliveries around this side of town. It’s a small operation, just a couple of us who know how to handle the different types of blooms. We don't have a big corporate strategy or anything like that. We just want to make sure the flowers we have are fresh and that we get them to people on time. Sanjaynagar is a nice place to be based because it feels like a real community. People stop in while they’re out for a walk. We aren't doing anything groundbreaking, just running a regular florist shop and trying to keep the plants from wilting in the heat. It is a lot of manual labor, standing on your feet all day, but we like seeing the different colors that come in every week. It makes the workspace a bit more interesting than a regular office would be, even with the mess.
