New Tasty Cafeteria

New Tasty Cafeteria is over here on Madivala Magadi Road 104/2. It’s a small shop, mostly just for tea and some snacks during the day. We’ve got a couple of tables but most people just stand outside and talk while they drink their coffee. The traffic on Magadi Road can get pretty loud, so it’s not exactly quiet here. We open up pretty early in the morning before the sun is even fully up because the bus drivers and people going to work need their first cup. My brother handles the stove and I take the money. We’ve had this place for a few years now. The paint on the walls is getting a bit thin in places, but the stove works fine. We don’t have a website or anything, just this physical spot. If the rain starts, people huddle under the awning. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze then. We usually have some biscuits and fried stuff in the glass case. It’s nothing fancy at all. We just keep the milk fresh and the tea strong. People know us by now. It’s just a regular neighborhood cafeteria. Some days are busier than others, especially when there’s a lot of traffic stopped out front. We just keep serving until the milk runs out in the evening. That’s pretty much how it goes for us every day here. It's a simple life and we like the people who stop by for a chat.
