New Star Real Estate Agencies is based out of Nagwara Main Road, very close to the Arabic College. This part of Bangalore has changed so much over the years, and the traffic on the main road is almost always heavy now. Our office is a simple place where we keep our maps, ledgers, and a whole bunch of keys. We aren't the kind of agents who sit in a posh office all day. Most of our time is actually spent outside, walking around different plots or checking on houses that are up for rent. My shoes usually have a bit of dust on them from walking through construction sites. It is a busy job because so many people are moving to this area lately. We have a few old plastic chairs for visitors, and we usually offer them some water while we talk about property prices. We don't use any high-tech gadgets to show houses; we just take you there and show you how it looks. It is an honest way of doing things. We know most of the landlords around here and which buildings have good water supply and which ones don't. That kind of local knowledge is what we rely on. Sometimes we get stuck in traffic for an hour just trying to reach a site nearby, but that is just Bangalore for you. We just keep at it every day.
