New Lucky Tea House

New Lucky Tea House sits at 8 Krishnarajendra road. We have been serving tea here for a long time now. It’s a simple shop with a few tables and chairs that have seen better days. The stove is almost always on, keeping the water hot for the next cup. We don't have a menu with fifty different things on it. We just do tea and maybe a few biscuits or snacks if we have them ready in the morning. Krishnarajendra Road is a busy place, so we get a lot of people just passing through who need a quick break from the sun. It gets loud in here when it’s crowded, but that’s just part of the charm of the place. We know a lot of our regulars by name and exactly how they like their tea made. Some like it with lots of sugar, others not so much. The walls have some old photos and the floor is a bit uneven in the corner, but nobody seems to mind. We aren't trying to be a fancy cafe or anything like that. We are just a tea house. The smell of ginger and cardamom is usually floating around the entrance. We open early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. By mid-day, it’s usually humming with conversation and the clinking of glasses. It’s a good spot to sit for a minute. We’ve kept New Lucky Tea House running the same way for years.
