New Classic Bags

We set up New Classic Bags over in the K Wing near the Lulu Collection. It’s a busy spot in Marathahalli, especially on the weekends. Our space at 93/1 is usually filled with stacks of nylon and canvas. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. We spend most of our time at the sewing machines. My cousin helps out with the cutting while I handle the stitching and the customers. We make all sorts of bags, from simple backpacks to those heavy-duty ones for carrying groceries. It's a lot of repetitive work, but it’s what we know. The office part is just a small corner with a ledger and a phone that rings more than I’d like. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but we always catch up. Saki Vihar is a loud area, so we usually have some music playing to drown out the street noise. We don’t have a big sales team or a fancy showroom. People just walk in, look at what we’ve got on the racks, and pick what they need. If they want something specific, we see if we have the right material in the back. It’s a simple way to run a business, but it keeps the lights on. We've been here long enough that the tea stall guy next door knows our order.
