Nethravathi Engineering Works

Nethravathi Engineering Works is over in Rajajinagar 6th Block. We are at 781 on the 9th Cross. It is a workshop where we handle a lot of metal jobs. You can hear the machines running from down the street most days. We have a few old lathes and welding sets that have been with us for years. The floor is concrete and always has metal shavings or bits of scrap lying around. It is not the kind of place where you want to wear nice clothes. We take on all sorts of small engineering tasks that people bring in. Maybe a gate needs fixing or someone needs a specific bracket made for a machine. We don't have a big office or a receptionist. Usually, you just walk into the shed and find one of us working. The roof is made of sheets and it gets quite loud when it rains during the monsoon. My father started this place and I just kept it going because it is what I know how to do. We have a small tea stall nearby where we go for breaks. It’s a quiet enough street except for the noise we make. We aren't trying to grow into some huge factory. We just like doing the work with our hands and seeing the finished pieces go out the door. It is a simple life and the work is steady enough to keep the lights on for the guys.
