Neeraj Traders

You can find Neeraj Traders on the first floor at 168/2 on S.C. Road. We are right across from the old Nataraj Theatre in Sheshadripuram. It’s a very busy area, especially when a movie is letting out. Our stairs are a bit steep and narrow. We’ve been here for years, and the building shows its age. We sell all sorts of things. The shelves are packed tight, and sometimes things fall off if you’re not careful. It’s a bit of a maze inside. We don’t have a computer system for the stock; we just remember where everything is. My uncle started this place, and I took over after him. We have a lot of regular customers who come in just to see what’s new. We spend a lot of time drinking coffee and talking about the news. The noise from the street is constant, with horns honking and people shouting. You get used to it after a while. We don't do any big advertising. If people need something, they just know where to find us. We keep a ledger for all the accounts. It’s a lot of writing by hand. Sometimes we run out of space and have to stack boxes in the hallway. It’s not the neatest shop, but we know our business well.
