Needle Creations

Needle Creations is located on Yelahanka 1St Cross, specifically at 480 Sri Seetha Ramajenya Temple Road. The temple is a big landmark for us, and we can often hear the bells or the music during the festivals from our shop. It’s a comfortable spot on a street that gets a decent amount of foot traffic. Inside, you’ll find the sound of sewing machines and the smell of fresh fabric. We have tables set up for cutting material and shelves filled with thread in every color you can think of. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, with scraps of cloth on the floor and pins hidden in odd places, but that’s just how a sewing shop looks when people are working. We’ve been in Yelahanka for a while now and have gotten to know the people who live on 1St Cross and the surrounding streets. Our daily routine is mostly focused on the machines and the projects we have in front of us. We don’t have a big fancy showroom. Instead, we have a workspace that’s practical for what we do. The windows are usually open to let in some fresh air, even if it brings in a bit of noise from Temple Road. It’s a small operation with just a few of us making things day by day. We like the neighborhood and the way the sun hits the shop front in the morning. It’s a quiet life of making things by hand.
