Our shop is at No. 53 G-7 in the Manandi Jewels Plaza, right on Nagarthpet Main Road. If you have ever been to Nagarthpet, you know how crowded the main road gets with people and carts and scooters everywhere. We are in one of the smaller units in the plaza and we keep it packed with all sorts of trims like buttons, ribbons, and laces. It is a bit of a squeeze when more than two or three people are inside the shop at once. We spend hours every day sorting through tiny items and putting them into little drawers. Tailors and designers come in looking for specific shades of thread or a certain type of lace to finish their projects. The lighting isn't the best but we make do. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just rely on being right there in the middle of the market where people are already shopping for textiles. Sometimes we get behind on our inventory because there are just too many small things to count. We are just a local business trying to keep up with the demand in this busy part of the city. We open the shutters in the morning and stay until the market starts to quiet down at night. It is just a normal shop in a very busy place.
