We have been situated at 84-7-26 on BM Road for quite a long time now, right here in Kumbalagudu. Being so close to the bus stand means there is always a lot of noise and people moving around outside our doors. It is a busy spot but we like it that way because it feels like we are in the middle of everything. Inside the shop, things are usually a bit messy with metal scraps and tools lying around on the benches. We do a lot of general engineering work, mostly fixing parts or making small components that people need for their machinery. It is not a glamorous job, but it is what we know how to do. Sometimes the rain comes down hard on the roof and makes it hard to hear anything, so we just focus on the lathes and the welding. We have a few guys working here who have been with us for years, and they just get on with it without needing much direction. We don't spend money on fancy signs or big advertisements because most folks around here already know where to find us. Usually, our mornings start with a quick tea and then a look at what came in the day before. We deal with whatever problems the machines throw at us that day. It is just a regular local shop where we work hard and go home tired. That is how it has always been for us at N S K Engineers.
