Muskan Engineering Works

Our workshop, Muskan Engineering Works, is inside the Masjid E Ayesha Complex in HRBR Layout. Hariom Nagar is a quiet place usually, but our machines make a bit of noise during the day. We have been in this complex for several years now and the neighbors are used to us. It is a small unit with lathes and some welding equipment. Most of the work we do is for small repairs or making custom metal parts. It gets quite hot inside during the summer months because of the roof and the machines running. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things lively while we work. My cousin helps me with the heavy lifting and the fine measurements. We get a lot of walk-in customers from the local area who have something broken that needs fixing. Sometimes it is just a small gate hinge or a bracket for a shelf. We don't have a big office or anything, just a desk in the corner with all our papers and bills. The Masjid is right there, so we hear the calls for prayer throughout the day. It gives a nice rhythm to our work schedule. On Fridays, we usually close for a bit longer so everyone can go for prayers. It is a humble setup, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills. We take pride in just getting the job done correctly without much fuss or extra talk.
