Our place is at No. 5 on the 1st Cross in the Ms Ramaiah Industrial Estate. Mrp Precisions has been here for a good number of years. It’s a typical industrial layout where everyone knows each other’s business. We have a modest factory floor where we handle precision work. It requires a lot of concentration and steady hands. The building isn't much to look at from the outside, but we keep the inside organized. We have several machines that run pretty much non-stop during the day. Sometimes we have to work weekends if a client is in a real hurry. It’s just the way the industry is. The 1st Cross can get a bit blocked up with trucks, so getting in and out takes some patience. We have a small team, and most of us have been working together for a long time. We don't have a big HR department or fancy coffee machines. We just have a kettle and some biscuits for when we take a break. The work is precise, so we spend a lot of time checking and re-checking our numbers. It’s a quiet kind of busy. We don't spend much on marketing because we're usually too busy with the work we already have. It’s a solid, practical business and we like it that way. Being in the Ramaiah estate means we're right in the middle of everything.
