We’ve been running this shop for a good while, selling a mix of shoes and different types of bags. Since we are in a residential neighborhood, we see a lot of the same people every week. The shop isn't very big, so we have shoes on the lower shelves and bags hanging up high. It’s a bit of a tight fit, especially when we get new boxes delivered. We usually have a small radio playing some local music to keep us going through the day. The floors are just plain tile and they get dirty pretty fast with people coming in from the street. I usually spend my time helping people try on sandals or showing them how many pockets a backpack has. We don't have any corporate office or fancy staff. It’s just us doing the work. Sometimes we sit outside on plastic chairs when it’s quiet. Indra Nagar is a decent place to be, though the parking near Bashyam Circle can be a real nightmare for our customers. We don't do anything special with our storefront. It’s just a regular local shop where we try to keep things honest and simple. We open at ten and stay until the street gets quiet at night.
