Micro Bar Engineers

Our small shop is located in Shed Number 5 at the Seetharam Industrial Estate. You can find us on V P Road in Jalahalli Village. It is a bit of a trek from the main part of the city, but there is a good community of workshops around here. We mainly focus on bar engineering and related metal work. The shed is not very big, so we have to keep everything very organized or we simply run out of room to move around. We spend our days working at the lathes and the milling machines. There is always the smell of cutting oil in the air and the sound of metal shavings hitting the floor. We do not have a big marketing budget or a fancy office. Most of our work comes from people who heard about us from someone else in the village or from another shop in the estate. We have been here at 302/4 for a long time now. The roof leaks a little bit when it rains really hard in the monsoon, but we just put a bucket under it and keep on working. We are just a few people who know how to handle these machines. We do not talk much while the power tools are running because of the noise, but we get the job done. It is a simple way to make a living and we like being part of this scene.
