Meu Engineeres

We are over at 83/2 Banneraghatta Road, inside the Dotamba Industrial Estate. It is a bit of a working-class area with lots of small units and workshops all tucked together. At Meu Engineeres, the day usually starts with the sound of metal hitting metal or the hum of a lathe. We are an engineering group, so our floors are never perfectly clean, and there is always someone with grease on their hands. The industrial estate has a life of its own, with people constantly moving parts around and trucks pulling in and out. Our space is divided between the workshop floor and a small area where we keep the books and take calls. It’s not a fancy setup, just what we need to get the engineering work done. We spend a lot of time on custom jobs, figuring out how to make a specific part or fixing something that stopped working. It can be hot in the afternoons, but we just keep the fans going and get through the tasks. We have a few guys who have been here since the beginning, and we’ve all learned how to work around each other in the tight space. Banneraghatta Road is always changing, but inside the estate, things feel a bit more constant. We just focus on the machines and making sure the jobs are done right before the sun goes down. It’s a basic, hard-working environment and that’s just how we like it.
