You’ll find Merind Engineering Enterprises down on Chunchungatta Road. We are at number 41493, which is near the K P Road junction in Konankunte. It’s a bit out of the way, but that works for us because we need the space for our machines. The workshop is always noisy and there’s usually some welding going on in the corner. It’s a dirty, oily place, but that’s where the real work happens. We started this engineering shop with just a couple of machines and we’ve slowly added more over the years. The office is just a small wooden cabin built into one side of the shed. It’s where we keep the drawings and the customer records. We don't have any fancy brochures or a sales team. If you want something made, you come in and talk to us directly. We’ll look at your sketch and tell you if we can do it. Sometimes we’re behind schedule because a part didn't arrive or the power went out, but we always finish the job. It’s a practical place for people who need things built or fixed. We don't wear uniforms, just old clothes that can get dirty. It’s a basic setup, but we know our way around a lathe and a drill press. The neighbors don't seem to mind the noise too much.
