Mathas Coffee

Mathas Coffee is located at 109, Slv Valley Industries. We are out on Kanankpura Road in Rachanamadu. It is a bit of a drive from the center of Bangalore, but it’s a good spot for a production unit. We handle everything from roasting the beans to packing them up. The air around the building always smells like fresh coffee, which is one of the best parts of the job. Our unit isn't a high-tech facility with robots. It’s mostly us and the roasting machines. We pay a lot of attention to the smell and the color of the beans. It’s a manual process in many ways. Slv Valley is an industrial area, so there are other workshops around us. We have a small team of workers who live nearby. We don't have a marketing department or a sales team in suits. We just focus on the coffee itself. The machines can be temperamental sometimes, so we spend a lot of time on maintenance. Rachanamadu is still a bit green, which we like. We've been at this address for several years. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just roast coffee and sell it. It’s a simple business model. We open the gates early and keep the machines running until the day’s batch is finished. It's hard work, but we enjoy the rhythm of it. We just keep the coffee moving out.
