Maruvur Arasi Roadways

We are located over in Kengeri at number 106. Being near the KSRTC Regional Workshop means there are always big vehicles moving around our area. It's a busy part of town especially with the Innovative Honda showroom right nearby too. Maruvur Arasi Roadways is basically about the trucks and the road. We spend a lot of time checking tires and making sure everything is ready to go. It is a tough business because something always breaks or a road gets blocked. I spend a lot of my time on the phone talking to drivers or looking at maps. It's not a clean job. There is always grease on someone's hands and the smell of diesel in the air. We don't have a big office with air conditioning. It’s just a room where we keep the keys and the papers. My brother and I started this because we liked being on the move. Now we stay in one place more while the trucks do the traveling. Kengeri is a good spot for us because it’s easy to get out onto the main roads. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just want to get the loads delivered without any trouble. Sometimes we're late because of traffic, but we try our best. It's just how the transport world works. We focus on the trucks and the timing and not much else.
