Down here at B -24 in Yeshwantpur, we are usually surrounded by stacks of boxes and rolls of packing tape. Being near Kanteerav Studio means there is always something happening on the road outside and traffic can be a real headache some afternoons. A M R Parcel Services is where we handle a lot of the heavy lifting for people who need things moved from one place to another. Our space isn't huge but we make it work by stacking things carefully so nothing gets crushed. Most of the staff has been here for years so we have a system that works even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. We see all kinds of items coming through the door from small household stuff to bigger crates that take two or three of us to move. The weather in Bangalore is usually okay but when it rains we have to move fast to make sure everything stays dry under the sheets. It is a lot of physical work and at the end of the shift our backs usually feel it. We just focus on getting the parcels sorted and making sure the drivers have their lists ready before they head out into the city traffic. It is a simple operation and we like it that way. We don't have any fancy tracking systems on giant screens just some logbooks and a few reliable people who know where everything is going at any given time.
