Abilash Transport

We are based out of Banashankari 1st Stage. The address is 506, near the Rang Avdhoot Society. Abilash Transport is mostly about moving goods from one place to another. We have a few trucks and a couple of drivers who are always on the move. Sometimes they are heading towards the Surat Ho area or staying local. My desk is usually covered in trip sheets and fuel receipts. It is a bit of a mess, but I know where everything is. The phones ring a lot with people asking where their stuff is or when the truck will arrive. We don't have a fancy waiting room. Most people just talk to us through the window or stand near the gate. Logistics is a lot of waiting and then a lot of rushing. We deal with flat tires, traffic jams, and rain that slows everything down. Banashankari is a busy hub, so there is always movement. We keep the vehicles parked in a small lot nearby. In the evenings, the drivers come back and tell stories about the roads and the police. We are just a small transport outfit trying to keep the wheels turning. It’s not a glamorous life, but it keeps us busy. We don’t use any special software, just a lot of phone calls and map reading. The office is small but it is enough for what we need. Sometimes my son comes in to help with the paperwork on Saturdays.
