Abdulla Transport Co

Our spot is at 24/2 in Nagarathpet. If you know the area, you know how tight the streets are. Abdulla Transport Co has been operating out of here for a while. It’s always a bit of a gamble with the traffic. We spend most of our time on the phone or talking to drivers who just got back from a long trip. The office is small and usually filled with the smell of diesel and strong tea. We have a couple of old desks and a lot of logbooks stacked up. It’s not a place for meetings or presentations. We just handle the logistics of moving things from one place to another. Nagarathpet is a loud, busy market area. There are people everywhere and it never really gets quiet. We usually have a few drivers sitting around waiting for their next load. We talk about the roads, the weather, and which routes are blocked. It’s a gritty kind of life, but we like it. We aren't a big fancy shipping company. We’re just a local outfit that knows the city and the roads. Sometimes we’re here until late at night making sure a truck got to where it was going. It’s just how the transport business is. You can’t really plan for everything, you just deal with it as it comes.
