Our office is up on the 3rd floor at 108/9 in Kalasipalyam. It is a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens sometimes when the weather is bad or the power flickers. Agarwal Transport Carriers has been in this spot for a long time. Downstairs it is always crowded with people and vehicles, so being on the third floor gives us a bit of a breather from the street noise and the dust. We mostly deal with transport logistics. It involves a lot of phone calls and keeping track of where the trucks are at any given hour. We aren't some huge multinational with shiny glass walls. It’s just desks, old files, and a lot of tea being drunk while we wait for updates from the road. Kalasipalyam is the heart of the transport business in this city, so we are right in the middle of everything. It gets dusty and hot, but we like being where the action is. Most of the drivers know the way to the office by heart now. We try to keep things organized but in this line of work, there is always some surprise waiting for us. A delay here or a breakdown there. We just deal with it as it comes and try not to get too stressed. We aren't trying to be anything fancy. We just move things for people who need them moved. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late at night.
